Use 50/50 crab meat for extra rich flavours, spreading the brown crab meat on one slice of toasted bread then layering fresh salad leaves, tomatoes, white crab meat seasoned with sea salt and black pepper, a drizzle of mayo and touch of tabasco before covering with another slice of bread.
Ingredients for 2 sandwiches:
- 100g 50/50 crab meat
- 4 toasted bread slices
- 4 fresh salad leaves
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- Mayonnaise
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Tabasco, optional
Method:
- Toast the bread slices
- Spoon the brown crab meet and spread on one of the toasted bread slices, then lay the salad leaves and tomatoes on top
- Season the white crab meat with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, and if using tabasco, then add on top of your tomato layer in your sandwich

- Repeat with the second sandwich
